Catching a Ride ....

Nothing too exciting has been going on this week. I finally got my cable/phone/dsl hooked up thanks to Comcast. So that would explain my absense from blogger land. It was like I was going through Oprah and Ellen withdrawals. Which reminds me I'm still an episode behind on Desperate Housewives ... so much to do, so little time.

For my last act of going green, I started taking the train to work again. Sure I have to get up/leave 20 minutes earlier and don't really save much time on the commute, but it is more environmentally friendly and with gas prices over $3/gallon it is probably saving me money and wear and tear on my car. Plus I guess it is less stressful and I can close my eyes for the 20 minute train ride as opposed to cursing out the idiots on the road.

One of my co-workers is having a Cinco DeMayo party tomorrow so that should be fun. There's nothing like another holiday around drinking. We actually had a tequila training yesterday at work followed by a Cinco DeMayo happy hour so I guess I started a little early.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Cinco DeMayo and remember to designate a driver or take public transportation.

And as someone at work said today, "May the fourth be with you."
